NavEdge Networks

At NavEdge Networks, our primary mission is to utilize our proprietary Distributed Dynamic Data System to provide an unparalleled level of service to companies that require Peer-to-Peer navigation, Presence Detection, Instant Messaging or other "Real-time" communication services. We expect to be able to provide this service at a fraction of the cost companies currently pay for such services.

The Distributed Dynamic Data (D3) System is a technology that transforms a distributed array of server clusters into a virtual matrix. The D3 management system uses our Dynamic Matrix Architecture (DMA). DMA is specifically designed to handle the high availability requirements of presence-enabled and peer-to-peer applications that require real-time presence and state information. Our goal is to provide this technology at a level of service that is of "commercial utility" quality.

The D3 system uses the Jabber / XMPP protocol for Instant Messaging. Jabber / XMPP is an open source, extensible protocol that is currently in use by several large companies.

The D3 system is further designed to provide a level of privacy and data protection that keeps the customers' membership and proprietary data behind their own firewall. The customers' member profile data is never passed to or through the D3 servers. It is only viewed and acted upon by the customer or the customer's members and only according to the customer's rules.

Jabber/D3 is the Instant Messaging backend for visitalk.com.
